im torn BC if you get it done at the Bridal shop and they mess up, at least they can order u a new one. But i think a private shop might do a better job. just my opinion,
I feel the same way - everytime i get something altered at a bridal salon - its never done right - not totally screwed up but not as good as it should be. I feel like they probably try to do the alterations to quick - they dont take the time to do an excellent job.

Getting it done where I bought the dress....I've heard good things in general about the seamstresses at Fantasia so hopefully it will be good! (plus I really will need minimal alterations--hem, cups & a bustle!)
