Alterations.....aaaaaaaaaaa

Okay, so as some of you know there has been some drama with my bridal shop closing down supposedly setting something up with another boutique to 'take care' of Maggie Sottero brides but that shop refused to take care of us, so then finally today, I found out another shop is going to be taking care of us. Sooooooooo, when I called today they said my dress was expected to be shipped May 23rd! First of all: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA Holy cow do I need to get in shape and when I say cow....I mean cow.
Second: Some people said you do your initial fittings a month or two out. I know I asked this before but I can't find the thread. Is that right?

My first fitting is going to be June 27th and I am getting married August 6th

Yeah, it varies a little from what I have heard from everyone. My first fitting was April 23 for my July 9 wedding, next and final one is June 4 (reason being needed it down early to get to NY)...factor that in since your dress is here in VA. Good Luck!
