I'm with the other ladies on this. I'm not crazy about it.
If you like fish; here's a suggestion:.
My cousin went to a wedding and the centerpieces were fish bowls with real live Beta fish in them. I'll try to find a picture. http://www.bettamansions.com/ this link is just one web site I find by searching 'Beta Fish Centerpieces' on Google.

I like it. . . I'm more of a flower girl myself. . .and when I first saw your pictures I wasn't sure what I was looking at because I've never seen anything like it. . . HOWEVER. . .after going to the website and looking at the closer up full length picture (you can better see the candy(?) inside the stems) I can totally see why you would think to use them. I'm still going with my flowers because that's me. . .but if you like these centerpieces then that is obviously YOU. . . and I say go for it!! I'm sure your friends and family members will get a kick out of it. . . I would if I were going to a wedding because it is very different and unique. Good luck and follow your heart!! Don't let the 'no, no, no's' get you down, it's your special day and I think it will work perfectly as long as you are 100% sure about them, which it sounds like you are. After your wedding, please let us know how much everyone loved them

Can I ask why you wouldn't take one home? It isn't much different then taking home other candy favors. people use personalized m&ms in boxes and little gift presents of almonds...just seems alittle pretentious to leave the favor just because you don't like the wrapping.

It's okay. I would never choose it for me, but like they say, different strokes for different folks! You have an advantage in that it's unique, from the style to the color (which is very pretty, by the way). However, when you're spending so much money for a wedding, I see why people would call it too plain or understated. Remember though, it's what YOU want.

Yeah, I'd have to agree with most of the other girls, it's not what I would have personally chosen but if you like it, ignore all the naysayers! Go with what you like!

not my taste..i was just on that website to see the other choices.. imho if you have your heart set on this idea, another color would look much better, like ivory or even pink...the blue looks like a birthday party centerpiece
