Re: alternative to guest book
I can't see your pictures but other ideas are:
- some sort of silver platter with an engraving pen - a mirror with places to sign around the edges (either with sharpie or on the frame) - a picture of you and FH where people can sign in silver on the picture...
i am doing a wish bowl...each person can wrote something on a card then leave it in a bowl..... i have a book to put them in after the wedding. or ill leve the book there too and they can put them in themselves

Re: alternative to guest book
is that site related to MUDD jeans? They have the same slogan 'Our name is Mudd' v. 'Our name is Mud' and also the handprint symbol.
If not, weird coincidence...

i either use photobucket to post pics (and u post the img code) or if u put pics in your album and right click on the pic, then go to properties, then copy the url address then when u go to post, go to 'insert web image' then paste the link
im notsure whose going to do it yet lol im hoping someone at the reception hall will do it, but if not then i guess ill ask someone i dunno haha

Re: alternative to guest book
FH and I were talking about doing a polaroid guest book as well. If we do, we'll probably ask someone to be in charge of taking pictures of people as they enter the reception hall.
For my eparty I wanted something a little different so what I did was collect some of the best pictures I have of FH and I and since we have been together, including our first pic and our epics and created my own bound book on snapfish.
It allows you to put little stories beside each picture and create your own layout. The last page I included the story of how he proposed.
We had our guests sign the pages like a HS yearbook and it was a big hit!
Now we have a book with our dating memories for our new apartment!
I have seen that exact thing at Walmart.. was there with my mom and I was so suprised to see walmart actually has a weddding section and that was there. IT was about $19.
they have a ton of stuff.. and not cheap looking,..i was shocked

Re: alternative to guest book
We did this....
We had two frames. One with an engagement picture (the photo below) and the other didn't have a picture in it because we put a wedding photo in afterwards. But anyway, we had two frames and everyone signed the matte. They came out so great...I LOVE THEM!!
