It's because i'm getting married during holy week and supposedly there's no time to clean up the rose petals after the ceremony since there will be a mass later that night. How long does it take to sweep up some rose petals?????

a friend of mine used these snowflakes made out of sugar or something. they were really cute and i am sure you could probably get them in a different shape.

There's tons of places to order online. I know of a bride who DIYed these and they came out great. But here's a few websites to check out...
ETA: My church told me the same thing about the rose petals. We have to clean everything ourself directly after the wedding. So we figured we'd save ourselves the time and effort and NOT throw something. LOL! Though it would be funny gettting a picture of the bride with a broom sweeping up rose petals outside the church.

A friend had sparklers and teh sparks burned holes in her train!!!
