alternative to rose petals

My church won't allow rose petals to be thrown after the ceremony. What are some alternatives?

I've been debating this myself

A friend had sparklers and teh sparks burned holes in her train!!!

Thank you - I'll be getting rid of the sparkler idea now.

awww i was thinking about sparklers since im getting married july 4 weekend. and my church doesnt allow ANYTHING!

yess thats why i thought sparklers would be good. but they would do worse damage!

I was going to say this too! someone was just telling me about a wedding that had this and they said it just smelled so beautiful!

I was at a wedding where they had it and it really does!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have no idea what should be thrown either..i loved the bubbles idea but i dont want it to stain my dress!

The rose petals are cute, but my dad brough up the point that it could block someones eyes, or cover parts of our faces! LOL
