Ever have that feeling prior to getting engaged?

I can say never did- was in a few weddings but always happy for couple and may have imagined my day but never said something like why her and not me.

In fact, i thought my little sis would be engaged b4 me and was excited about it but i got engaged first.

I never felt this way. I have been in a few weddings and enjoyed it. I knew my time would come!

i've never felt that way. the first wedding i was in was a few months ago and i enjoyed it.

but i definitely get the feeling that my moh feels that way, which kind of bothers me a little bit. like sometimes i feel like she's not genuinely excited for me

omg. . . I was only a BM once BUT I felt that way ALL the time. . . like 'Why isn't it me?'

B/c all the weddings I went to (all my cousins - and I have a few). . . they were all dating for much less time than FH and I were at the time of their engagement. And NO they were NOT all much older than me! But FH finally decided to pop the question and now everyone is . . . releived.

I did kind of feel that way for a bit. am the oldest out of my work friends, and the last to get married. When we all started hanging out, most of us were just dating our FH/DH and as time went on all of them started getting married and FH and I were still trying to figure out the long distance thing. It wasn't that I wasn't happy for them, it was just hard because I was so unsure of my future and being at their functions only reminded me of what I was hoping for in my own life and what I wasn't sure was ever going to come to fruition.
