Am I a freak of nature???

So I'm sitting here right now, and I feel like I'm 8 years old and I just lost a tooth. That's it. No swelling, no nausea, bleeding seems to have subsided, and most importantly, lymph node swelling is mainly gone.

I feel like I'm the exception to the rule right now, which given my flair for histrionics and hypochondria...I have to say I'm in shock!

Just want to say thank you to all the girls who gave hugs and well wishes, I certainly feel they helped! Now I'm going to go about my day business as usual, it's so strange that I'm like totally fine.

And I have a whole bottle of pills that will go unused now, damn. Well, I did just take a pay cut...hmm....

So glad your feeling better! Just be careful though... I was a little banged up the first day or so and then I started feeling better and going about normal business... well boy did that back fire! I started bleeding again and I started swelling. Even the simple act of bending over causes the blood to rush to the area and it can make you swollen/soar .... So becareful not to over do it missy !

I'm definitely making sure to take care of myself still, and not overdo it toooooo much. As day progressed, started to hurt a little more, so just took a regular motrin, and it's back to 'normal' level of discomfort. Starting saline rinses too, so not too much yuckiness for now. Heating up some nice mushy mac and cheese for lunch now

I'm so glad to hear you're feeling ok, Ali!!! We were all worried about you, but it sounds like you've been a real trooper through the whole procedure!

And, you're not a freak!!! Just very lucky!

I had basically the same experience. I just couldn't eat foods comfortably that required a lot of chewing. However, I had no swelling and very little pain. Advil or Tylenol was enough for me.

I was around much this week, so im assuming you did get your wisdom teeth pulled???

either way, whatever it is, i'm glad you're feeling good!!!!!
