I have been procrastinating on finding a make-up artist. I love doing make-up and I think i do it pretty well. Everyone tells me that I should have a make-up artist for the wedding. Should I? Any advice?

I love doing make up myself so I am going to do it myself !! So I dont think your a snot at all if you feel comfortable doing it yourself I say go for it

I love the way I do make-up too but I am going to spoil myself that day ang get it done even if I have to have 3 trials! And I will bring pics of how I want it done!

i love doing makeup myself also...but i dont want the added stress of doing it myself the morning of. but im afraid of having my trial because im afraid im not going to like how someone else does my makeup and im going to pick it apart. so you're not alone! :)

if you want to do your own makeup then I would say go for it! as long as you won't have too many emotions that would inhibit your makeup skills.

I dont think you're a snot at all...I was going to do my own makeup too that day, but I thought I might be better off if I just relaxed and had someone do it for me. I would hate to be nervous and not get it right. I dont need the extra stress that day!

if you're good at it, and feel good about it....I say do it yourself!!!!!!! If you have a discerning eye, you will get frustrated finding someone who does it the way you want it. (although I have to say that those folks at the Bobbi Brown counter are pretty damn good) if you do it yourself, its also $ you can spend on something else!

Its all up to you. You wouldnt be a snot if you decide to do ur own make up. If you do it well go for it!..I plan on doing my own make up for my wedding. Why dont you do ur own make up trail, post some pics and let us give you some opinions
