so my invites arent even ordered yet is this going to create a problem? how long do they typically take to come in?
my fsil's mom is ordering them for us (she is a retailer of like every invite company known to man) but i still have NO ambition to get them done

Well, I'd say they need to go out first week of August, right? Mine took a little over a week to come in and that was with an issue with the company. So, I think as long as you pick something out within the next 2-3 weeks, you should be fine!

Yeah, you should be ok. I ordered mine in May (or late April) and I got them by Memorial Day. We sent them out by June 1st just to give you an idea of my timeline. I would try to sit down and look at them by the end of the week though. It's definitely a process and picking an invite is the easy part. It's all the stuff you have to do afterwards. Good luck!

my wedding is 10/4 and I haven't ordered them. I was so into doing the save the date but the invites I know I have to get on them. Going looking again today. I think a lot of places can get them done in 2-3 weeks so we should be ok. But, we have to get on it. I was just thinking about the wording???

I think you should be fine, especially if your FMIL is ordering them for you...she'll probably get them quicker. I'm still waiting for mine...hopefully I'm going to have them very soon.

Depends on the company but mine came in, in about 2 weeks if I remember correctly. i was pleasantly surprised. I couldn't stand thinking about them anymore. YOu have half the battle done though, you at least picked them out already.
I plan on mailing mine 8/1 which I think is a little early but I am not a patient individual.

i waited on mine and now it is a rush to get them out. i say just get them started to save yourself from any stress later on.

My invites took about 2 weeks to come in so you are definitely fine with timing. NOW to put my whole invite together with the ribbons, crystal clasps, and print out envelopes etc. that's sh*t took forever!!!!
