or why can't his sister move into his mom's house until the apt is done? Seems like its his sisters responsibility to get out of there.
I would definitely work something out so you can be together.

Tell SIL to GET THE F' OUT!!!! There would be no way in hell I would not live w/ my new husband. The fact that she hasn't said I'll move out shocks me!!!

I'm sorry but your FSIL should have to move out and find some place to live until he finishes the place. You guys should not be the ones put out by this.

Thanks guys. It's good to know I'm not the only one who sees a problem with it. It's really putting a damper on my excitement about getting married. I'm seeing him tomorrow, and I'll have to bring it up to him. Hopefully we can work out some other arrangement. I'll keep you posted...

FSIL needs to move out - has she no brain that she thinks you and you husband will live seperately? Is she selfish?

You are right in being upset about this, but I think that since your SIL owns half of the house, you can't ask her to leave. Because of your allergie you can't live with her and her pets, so the only choice that I see is that your FH moves with you while he finishes her house or she moves to the basement temporarily. I hope he can see that you have your point in being upset and can workout something.
