Am I being ridiculousness
Okay so its a bit of a long story maybe even a rantI have a bridesmaid my only friend that is in my bridal party everyone else is basically family or married to a groomsman and i am getting married in November well here goes
I have 5 girls in the wedding party all together and we chose the BM dresses 3 months ago well my friend didnt come with us she said she couldnt make it which is fine i totally understood people are busy so i went with 2 or my girls because 2 live in other states so i just have 3 here in NY my friend couldnt go... so we chose the dress and it looked good on the girls all of my girls have basically the same body types and i researched dresses that look good on this body so ok fine i told the girls that werent there which dress we chose and everyone was okay with it 'its so pretty' they all say even my friend
now its getting to be time to order them and my Future Mother In law is making the shawls and i told this to the girls because I dont see how paying $80 for a shawl is okay anywhere so she is making them and when i told the girls people said Thank You which is what is the right thing to do... except my friend she said 'tell her to make me a jacket instead' I said well i am buying fabric for the shawls we can tie yours so its like a jacket she said NO i want a real jacket i said well I can go with you with a swatch so you can et a jacket the same color as the shawls she said well your not going to pay thats not fair
she is not a super conservative girl i an just trying to be nice to people and now i feel like scum
any suggestions ladies

Ugh what a brat!! Honestly, but unless the shawl will make her really uncomfortable (maybe she has a scar or something on her arm that she wants to hide) you should just tell her nicely that this is what the bridesmaids are wearing and that you'll wear whatever she wants on her big day.

She is def being a brat. I am assuming the shawl that is being made is a gift? Well if so, tell her you and your aunt are gifting them a shawl and if she wants a jacket so bad then she needs to pay for it. If she doesnt want to pay for it because its 'not fair' then she needs to accept the shawl. Period! Ppl are really ridiculous! SmhWelcome New Vendors
