I noticed a comment on FBIL's (FH's little brother) facebook page from FSIL (FH's older brother's wife) where they were talking about school and the kids. FSIL said that her daughter wasn't going back to pre-school yet because they're broke and maybe she can go back after the wedding (my wedding).
Now we haven't asked them to pay for anything other than the normal bridesmaid and best man things. And the stuff we chose (BM's dress and stuff) was all very reasonable. They aren't all struggling with money. I'm hurt because I feel like I shouldn't have to see/hear things like this. And this is not the first time that she's made a comment about not having money or not being able to do something because of the wedding. When they got married we made sacrifices too we just never told them about them.
Should I say something to FSIL so it doesn't eat away at me or am I being overly sensitive and should just let it go?

Re: Am I Being Too Sensitive?
I would just let it go people are going to complain about money regardless and if you say something it may become a huge fight.

Let it go. I mean even people with money complain and you never know if they are in CC debt. Although I think posting that on FB was insensitive. But weddings are an expense.
I am sure she didn't mean anything bad...

I would let it go...unless it's said directly to you and not just a posting on facebook.... let it go... there's nothing to even really say at this point, right? Good luck!

I'm the same way! I always make sure I think about everything I say/do to make sure i won't offend anyone and I feel like NO ONE else in the world (or at lest in my life) does the same. They just say and do whatever comes into their head and then afterwards say 'Oh that's not what I meant.' Just take a minute before you speak people!!!
It's nice to know there's at least one person out there like me though! Thanks Gina!

I know I try so hard to not care what people think but no matter what I end up not sleeping at night thinking 'Did that make someone feel bad??'

I know it **** to hear things like that being said, but the best thing to do is not get yourself worked up about it. Especially since it invovles future family, I would let the issue slide under the table. You might end up having bigger issues than money complaints.
