Am I crazy, or is this a little too soon?

FH's cousin is getting married the month after us and she has pretty much completed everything. I am one of her BMs and she wants us to order the dresses now. Shouldn't we be waiting until we hit 2008? Her wedding is next November.

I'm getting married Oct. 08 and I didn't order the BM's dresses yet. And I do everything way ahead of time. Don't worry, you have time.

wow! i agree with amanda id tell her to take the 500 and shove it!! how can anyone expect someone t pay that?????????? especailly if you are gettig married yourself???
I think it is too early.....where is everyone gonna strore them?? I am getting married in May and we are not ordering till Dec.

my dresses are 159 and i have been looking for them cheaper lol some people just dont think. If that was me and i was asked to buy a $500 dress id drop put JMO

well i did everything within the first 3 months so that I can have the rest of the time to CHILL., and thats exactly what is happening. I wanted all orders in so noone will Eff up...

Its just a matter of doing things a certain way so no its not crazy

I think I might take this strategy too

my wedding is in aug and we just ordered BM dresses. we ended up deciding on a dress/color earlier than expected, and i'd rather just have it out of the way early. hopefully the dresses will come in early too.

That is completely understandable and I would do the same. We joke to her that she should have gotten married this November because she has finished everything including pre cana

i am sorry that is WAY too early to do that. I am suprised they are even letting do it (the rest of the bp) she should wait because she probably change her mind and being at that price I wouldn't be chipping in for her shower.
