FH's cousin is getting married the month after us and she has pretty much completed everything. I am one of her BMs and she wants us to order the dresses now. Shouldn't we be waiting until we hit 2008? Her wedding is next November.
I'd say it's a little too soon - but, I'm also the queen of a little too late, we just ordered BM dresses a couple of weeks ago.
It entirely depends...she may have her heart set on a dress that is in danger of being discontinued... I know I was concerned when I was looking at the 2007 collection - because 2008 was coming out & we were kinda right in the middle timeframe...

I don't even know who the designer is. She originally told me watters but I've also been told it's close to $500. I didn't think they're dresses were that much.
As long as she is positive thats the dress...no difference if she orders it now or in a few months. Just my opinion though.

well i did everything within the first 3 months so that I can have the rest of the time to CHILL., and thats exactly what is happening. I wanted all orders in so noone will Eff up...
Its just a matter of doing things a certain way so no its not crazy

Yeah maybe too soon. I am getting married next october and I am going to wait till January to start looking with the girls. My excitement wants to look now but I am trying to hold out. I also read that someone ordered $500 dresses! OMG that is a lot of money for a BM dress!

At least you're passed your one year mark. She hasn't even hit hers yet and she wants to order them.
IMO i think it's a little too soon. i haven't ordered my BM dresses yet. i'd like to do it soon though. but maybe she's just ultra organized, if so i know NOTHING about that. i'm probably going to be late to my own wedding!!

I agree thats insane...I would NEVER have my BMs spend that much on a dress. I dont care if they have the money or not
