Re: AM I Getting a Good Deal
yeah, it would depend on their work. some of the higher priced ones are that high because of the quality of their work

Re: AM I Getting a Good Deal
It sounds like a good deal but what are you getting for that price?
How many photographers? How many hrs will they be their for? any albums?
if you are satisfied then go with them. Are they the only photographers you looked at?

Re: AM I Getting a Good Deal
I say be careful. I was burned this way. What company. FM if it is Photo Video network-don't use them! Make sure on how many hours you get, have it stated, and what are the 'extras'. Some start low and then bang you with overtime and/or extras. Check the work, get ref. Make sure they are licensed and have a physical location you can go to and an address. FM for more tips.

Re: AM I Getting a Good Deal
It sounds really good, but maybe too good to be true. I would check better business bureau (you can do this online) to see if they have any past complaints and read their description.
I would also check out the quality of their work and look at some other photogs to see what you want/like.
Good luck!

Re: AM I Getting a Good Deal
That seems kind of cheap. Have you seen their work?? I used Golden Moments in Mineola. Pat and Dan were great. I got my proofs back about a month after the wedding and they were BEAUTIFUL. You guys ROCK!!!

Re: AM I Getting a Good Deal
how many photos is he giving you?
Are they digital proofs?
Do the proofs have a watermark on them?

Re: AM I Getting a Good Deal
Make sure you get ownership of your photos with the digital package, not tiny files that have a giant watermark over them. Also, you want to make sure you're getting ALL the pictures, not just the 30. The albums they give you are nice, but you can make your own with digital files.
How many photographers does it include? If you have more than 100 people, you'll probably need 2.

Re: AM I Getting a Good Deal
That sounds very inexpensive. We looked at about 8 different places before we decided and none of them were even close to being that low. They were all around 4,000-6,000.

Re: AM I Getting a Good Deal
Some times things are to good to be true. What company is this? Have you found any brides that have used them before and have already got their albums back?
All of the photographers we went to were at least $4000.
We are going with Paul Marino Photography and Bellarino Video Productions. They both do amazing work.
I would definitely check out some more companies.

Re: AM I Getting a Good Deal
That seems to be a very good deal. If you are happy with the work take the package.
