Am I just paranoid?

We got my e-ring at the same place we are getting my wedding band. I'm supposed to go pick up the band this week and they offered to condition my e-ring to make it look like new for the wedding.

They said I would have to leave it there for an hour. I'm nervous to do this. Is there anything to worry about or am I just paranoid?

Thanks everyone! I'm so glad to feel like I'm not being crazy. The one thing I didn't mention was that I never questioned them or asked if I could watch. I will ask if I can, and if they say no I'll tell them I don't need the conditioning then.

When we went looking at bands they cleaned the ring and it was out of my sight for less than 5 minutes. I really don't think they switched it but it's so scary to think they could have then!!!!! I'm totally taking our certificate somewhere else to confirm that it still matches the diamond I have.
