Am I l behind?

I feel like when I first got engaged I booked all my major vendors so quickly that I got comfortable that I was ahead of schedule. Now I am 5 months away and panicking that I have a lot to do. So I ask you girls;

I still have not done the following, am I behind schedule?

- order invitations
- book limo company
- book out of town hotel block.
- Go on any hair/makeup trials
- Bridal party gifts
-order favors
- get day of jewelry/shoes/veil

I don't think so!! I still have a lot to do and i am getting married in a little over 2 months. The only thing I would get on is the Limos and hotel block.

FH didnt get gifts yet. I am doing hair/makeup for my girls and just a picture frame. Hair and makeup is a lot of $$.

You definitely should start on your invitations now, and also I would get on finding limos and a hair/makeup person. Out of your list those three things are the biggest that I would start on now if I were you. The other stuff I feel like your on time.

ETA: I just realized too that you didn't order your favors, I would definitely get on doing that as well. Depending on what your getting some places could take a couple months.

I think you are ok. I was getting nervous with invitations too. I am actually still working on them. I would definitely start that right away. I don't have my veil yet either. I think that is important too. The BP gifts are fairly easy to get if you have an idea of what you want. I felt like I had a lot of time too and all of a sudden our day is almost here

get crackin', I was set to order favors from a certain vendor and for shi**s & giggles I ordered some stuff for my e-party and they took almost 2 months to send it to me, I changed my favors at the last minute because I didn't get them in time..

Plus some favors may be DYI projects, for example I plan to do customized ribbon around white organza bags w/ almonds and found out I need to get that stuff ordered now in order to start assembling each favor by hand for at least 75 guests.

Invitations typically should be sent out 3 months before your wedding. Ordering them can take anywhere from 2-8 weeks, I just ordered mine and it should be arriving in the mail by mid July. Then if you plan to get envelopes done w/ calligraphy, add on another 2 weeks for that to be done.

Hair and makeup vendors from LIW book quickly, sometimes up to a year in advance - however there are always makeup and hair people available but the closer you book to the wedding day, the less choices you have or you may face higher prices.

I don't think you are behind, but to save your self hassle later, def. get started specially with the things that build on each other.

So from your list, you should do your room block so that you can get the info yon your invitations so that you can figure out timing for limos etc.

Invitations were a DIY for us and took us a LONG time to pick so get cracking.

Lastly, hair is a big issue for me and has taken me months to figure out. And it is helpful to know what you want to wear on your hair in order to figure it out.

You will be fine though.

Some of those items are on my list too!! And I have less than 2 months until my wedding. Look into limos though...
