I just called fmil to see if she wants to go shopping for MOG dresses... lol I think in a way I like to torture myslef

Why did I think you get along with her though?

Mine got her dress on her own and she surprisingly picked a dress that sort of coordinated with my mothers by luck.

We have a love hate relationship. For the most part we get along VERY well. theres just certain times where she says really rude/stupid/unecessary comments that I get really annoyed at.

She would actually go by herself and pick it... I just feel bad that she really hasnt been in on ANY of the planning so I figured the least I could do is go dress shopping with her and give my input. A few months ago she found a GORGEOUS dress that we both really loved... well lets just say it was more $$ then MY dress!

In the stores they are all called mob though

but still, GOOD LUCK. Though I had an easier time with my FMIL than my OWN MOM!

I truly love my FMIL (I know, I'm lucky) but it was still a pain in the butt for me .. She only has the three sons (no daughters) so she kept dragging me with her everytime she went dress shopping.. We went last week to have her dress altered and the seamstress kept thinking I was her daughter and she was the Mother of the Bride .! They simply couldn't believe that a future daughter in law was going with her FMIL for the dress stuff... I guess we are a rare bunch

awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww thats so cute!!!!! Hopefully she wont complain the WHOLE time. Plus shes like a size 18 so sometimes if things dont fit she has me or her daughter try it on to get a better idea then from the hanger. After next friday I will probably deserve a medal of honor if I dont loose it at some point j/k

I thought mine was bad!!! She wants something so plain and boring that she wont even look like the mother of the groom! I offered to have her makeup done that day and she said no I no I will do it myself like always... do these people even get it ?!?!?!

They definitley don't get it...my FMIL is so cute, but cargo pants on my wedding day is so not going to fly. Makeup...puhleez, I will be happy if she wears a dress!
