Am I Nuts?

Wedding is in exactly 7 months (February). My dress isnt coming in until October and thats without alterations. So that will leave me 4 months for alterations. BM dresses are still not ordered. I still dont have a florist or DJ. OMG Im panicking. I cant sleep!!! Tell me everything will work out

itll work out.. it'll work out.. i'm up too.. i have my dress. i think ... THINK i have a bridesmaid dress picked out.. but guess what i DON'T have..

WEDDING COLORS!! i can NOT pick two coordinating complimentary colors to SAVE MY LIFE!! my fiance is knocked out.. while i am searching the knot and liw for wedding pictures.. it's horrible..

then i just read somewhere that the wedding colors should some what match the reception hall room? WHAT??? i'm back to square one now!!

OMG Were freaking while FH's are sleeping like babies! Im searching websites too! Im also thinking about all the money we have to spend that we dont have. We just have to keep telling ourselves that its gonna be fine. It has to be!

girl. sleep and SNORING.. lol. i just need two colors that match.. each other and a room that i haven't seen in person in over a month.. that's all.. lol.

and the money? please i don't even bother to think bout the money any more.. lol. i just don't..

DOn't panic- esp about your dress, you only need about 4-6 weeks for alterations. Mine was done in less than 2!

It will all come together!

I have found with a february wedding that finding vendors hasn't been too much of a problem. I would start looking for your vendors, but I don't think it will be a situation where they will all be booked up or something. Most places we went to didn't even have another wedding on our weekend, or maybe they had 1 for example and the place had like 8 photographers.

You will be fine! Just focus on one task at a time!

You are fine. I know some of us are paranoid about timing on here and are probably making you paranoid too. My sister planned her entire wedding in 6 months.

Your dress is coming in enough time for the wedding. 2 months for alts. should be fine- they will bump your alterations up for the front of the line b/c your wedding is in Feb. Usually, BM dresses take about 4 months to come in. Flowers you can do as late as 4 months in advance. The DJ is the only thing I would try to book soon. DG and photo was what everyone said you should have set early. Especially if you have someone in mind that you want to use. And maybe florist if yo have someone in mind.


Don't stress. You still have time.
