Am I over reacting?

Am I over reacting?

A few weeks ago I went dress shopping w/ my MOH and mother. They both really loved one dress more than this other one dress I had my heart set on . a few days later I went back with out my MOH(she had to work) and chose the one I originally wanted. So two weeks have passed and my MOH hasn't even called to ask which dress I chose. I felt a little bad. Is this over reacting?
So then the other day I asked my aunt and mother what they thought and they said' You think your wedding is the only thing going on now and that nothing else matters and that people shouln't have to just drop things to ask you what going on w/ the dress.' .' I was mad about that, I mean they both had to plan a wedding too at some time.

My MOH forgot my birthday. She called today to apologize. Fact is, these things aren't so important to other people. Yeah, I wish she remembered, but it isn't that important to her, and everyone else also has stuff going on in their own lives. So, unfortunately, I am sure they will disappoint a great deal more before the wedding. My mom has been the only one who hasn't disappointed so far.

I don't think you are over reacting. Trust me, I know how you feel. There is alot going on in my family right now and my wedding is the last of all of the events and it is hard for me too but I am excited for everyone else and I know that everyone is excited for me too. Just give everyone time

I understand...
It is the most important and exciting thing in your life. Don't let it get you down. People forget a little too often how it felt when they went through it themselves.
Personally, when I bought my dress, I thought it was the most exciting thing in the world. I wondered why it wasn't broadcasted on CNN.
I don't think you over reacted...buying your dress is an important step in the process. Just don't get too upset about it. There is a lot going on, that's all.
