Ok so my FH and I are the 5th couple to get married out of his friends. Everyone has done 'surprises' for their guests. They have done the photobooth, live statues, irish dancers ect. It has all been amazing but I feel like I have to keep up with everyone but I dont want to turn my wedding into a circus either. I already feel like I'm copying ideas since everyone has done basically everything already and now I feel like our wedding has to live up to theirs.....I am driving myself crazy.

just focus on the key elements- great food, and great entertainment- and that's what people will remember.... how much fun they had dancing and whatnot... not watching river dance lol

I think you will be fine. Don't overthink and worry about living up to other people's weddings. Yours will be fantastic on its own. No need for going crazy- unless you want to but not because you have to.

Don't feel like you have to try to compete with anyone. Just do/get what makes you happy. You have your own vision for how you want your wedding to be so go with that and forget about what the other people have done.
Don't stress!!

Yeah you know you don't have to 'out do' anyone else! Its all about you and your husband and you know no one will be thinking about anyone else's wedding that day!
I thought about hiring Mr. Met to come for a surprise apperance to our wedding (FH is HUGE METS FAN), but the more I think about it the more I feel like that would only be appropriate for maybe a kid's birthday party or something.
Maybe the best thing you can do for your guest is be happy --because watching the newlyweds be so in love with eachother and really enjoy themselves is really more satisfying than anything else you could show them!

Do what makes you feel happy. It's about you and your FH. Personally I want to do the photobooth.

Don't stress yourself out over these things IMO, the simpler the better. I am of the belief that less is more and I'm sure if you don't end up doing any of these extra surprises, it will still be a wonderfully lovely time! I've never been to a wedding with any of those types of extras, and they were still great times!

Stay focus on the vision that you have for your wedding. Don't worry about anything or anyone else.
