Am I overreacting?

I am getting married in ~ 9 days. FH's BP was supposed to be this coming Friday. I asked his GM not to have it the weekend before the wedding, cause I wanted him to be able to help me with stuff, but obviously they didn't care about that. So today FH tells me his BP is moved to the Thursday before the wedding. AM I wrong to be mad? Now he will be completely useless the day before the wedding. Now he is pissed at me for getting pissed at his stupid Bridal Party, but we have been engaged for 18 months you think they could have planned this a little sooner

I would be very upset too!! Tell him to have a good time but make sure he knows that you're going to need him the next day!!!!!

I would make sure that I turned on every noisy household appliance as early as possible the next morning and have a 5-page TO DO TODAY list for him.

Yeah, I'd be pissed too. I guess it's better than the night before the wedding though?

Its ok, no big deal. There is nothing for him to do anyway the day before the wedding. My DH had his BP on the friday before the wedding (wedding was on sunday) and everything was fine.
If it was the night before the wedding, thats a different story.

Thanks Lauren! That makes me feel better. He is sick and I am just nervous that him staying up late and drinking more than he should, he will not be all there the day before or the day of the wedding. Men

Yeah he drank too much - called me in the middle of the night to tell me he was drunk . But he and the guys went to go pick up their tuxes and showed up to the rehearsal dinner on time - only things they really had to do. I also asked him to get the car washed and pick up a bottle of wine, which he didn't do, but that was no big deal. The day of the wedding was perfect, no problems whatsoever.

Yeah, I'd be pissed. If you look at any of my old posts about BPs, I am always the one saying to just let your DH have fun, anything goes, etc. HOWEVER--this is different. If they could not get it together sooner, that's their problem! He may have wedidng stuff to do, or maybe he needs some rest before the wedding. The BP should not be that close to the wedding, and especially not when you requested that!!!

I am sure it will work out just fine, but that doesn't mean that it was the right thing for theGMs to do.
