Am I overreacting??

Am I overreacting??

OK, so why would a vendor say: Sunday is not a problem. After I told him we can only do Sunday morning. Then when I ask if we could meet Sunday morning in the Bronx. He replies can we meet on Sunday at 2PM in Queens??
That's another borough and that's NOT in the morning! I really like them but they are so slow to reply every time I email I feel like I'm moving other vendors' appointments around to accomodate the one vendor who is not getting back to us for days at a time!
I love their work and don't want to judge them based on this scheduling issue since we are pretty busy and can only meet on Wed, Thrusdays or Sundays but I also don't appreciate having to wait 2 days to get a simple: Sorry, we can't make Wednesday or Thrusday work.
(This is for Video) Do you ladies recommend any Videographers who are budget friendly and shoot in HD?
(any pricing info would be really appreciated). (the Vendor we're trying to schedule an appointment with is GT Modern Creations).

Thanks!

Sorry to hear about the problems you are having I'm not to firmiliar with many videographers so we just booked with a company that has both options. Is this a small one man type company? Maybe that's why its so hard to sched. with each other.

But if you are not feeling comfortable now I would suggest maybe looking for someone else. You dont want to be worrying the day of. If you cant find anyone call your hall and ask your BM if they can recommend someone, if you work with someone who works with the hall you may also get a good discount too

Awww sorry they are being stinky. I don't have any suggestions because I'm using TP but I will bump the vendor lists and check out the photo/video list for some ideas!

If you are already feeling like that with this vendor I woul recommend to look for someone else...
You should feel 100% comfortable with ur vendors... You shouild not feel like that...

This is the person you will be trusting to record ur Most special moments, so u got to make sure u feel 'RIGHT' about him/her.

I think it might be easier to call him!
I've decided that's what I'll do! Give them a chance and just call them!
I have a friend who used for his wedding and he liked their video. I'll talk to them and maybe others as well before making a decision it just came off totally wrong when I asked to meet in the morning in one borough and he replies can we meet in the afternoon in another, so I think is time to pick the phone up and dial!

TP is booked on my wedding day already.
I emailed him on Friday and he replied within hours saying sorry, I'm booked on that date.

Hey I booked with GT and I live in the bronx. He does take a while to email back. He has his number in the email and I decided to call. It was much faster. He will text and call you back no problem. I suggest calling. He did meet with me in the bronx no problem once we started talking on the phone.

you are not overreacting - they should absolutely be getting back to you and trying to accomodate you. we dont have a videographer but Skid Mark was recommended through our DJ co. so if we have it in the budget we will prob use him! HTH

I decided to call him. He's so nice and explained why his schedule is so crazy, just like ours! So we're trying for next week and he has also put us at the top of his list for our date. Thanks Ladies!!

I have the same problem. My photographer answers me on my second email (i resend her my message from 2 days before) i feel like if its not a biggg company that they dont sit around all day in the office. Which is annoying when you want an answer quickly.

Theres a # to call them if you look in the email. I called GT once i didnt hear back from them

They should really invest in a smarthphone! Then it's easy to email right back.....Just my thought!
