I've done MOST of my major vendors, the last 2 big things I think I need are flowes and BM dresses. I haven't even met with any florists yet because we are still not sure about the colors for the girls dresses. Overall, my colors are dark purple (like eggplant), black and white. Should I still meet with them now to get the ball rolling even though I don't know the exact shade of purple?
I am getting married in July and I feel kinda behind.

You are not behind... I am getting married in June and did not even started looking at flowers.. you will be fine :) I think I will look at the BM dresses first

we're getting married in may and we still havent done flowers. i'm not freaking out because we're probably just using the house florist and also flowers dont mean much to us.

You're not behind but you can still meet with florists even if you don't know the exact shade of purple. Just see what they can do for you and the prices they have to offer. You don't have to commit to any particular vendor yet.

Not at all...I am getting married 5/30 and am just booking my flowers now. It definitely doesnt hurt to start looking around and get a feel of what you want. The florists will definitely help you get some ideas to get the ball rolling...

5/29 Here and I am just onto flowers as well... You can start looking now but just a note, if you are using flowers that are going to be 'In season' for the month of your wedding, you really not going to see what it looks like exactly anyway. But I would start browsing and shopping around so you can pricing and ideas.

I am also getting married in July and dont have flowers or bm dresses picked. I dont think we're late ordering stuff. I am taking care of both within the next month.

Not at all. I am getting married the end of July and don't plan on ordering my flowers til January when we start looking at BM dresses. I am going to go to the Florist sooner though to get an idea of what I want.

I also feel behind, but I think you're fine. I also haven't looked at florists or bm dress shopping yet. I'm going dress shopping with all of my girls next Saturday so I might go see florists next week or the following week. I'm getting married a month before you so I think you're fine.

You don't need to know what flowers or colors you want in order to book. I booked my florist in march (really early) but I still don't know exactly what I want. That kinda stuff you do when it gets closer to your wedding, I would go book a florist now.

I am getting married in July as well and haven't even went to a florist. My aunt is very good friends with a florist and he said they really only need a few months so I am planning on going in December.

Youre not behind. I booked my florist like 8 months before our date. You definitely don't need specifics to book a florist though, they will work with you throughout the process!

I JUST book flowers and I am just after you. I did it because I am anal and NEED to have things done! I am not sure about my exact colors either - they will work with you and wait for final decision on color!!

I booked flowers 3-4 months before my wedding and no one was booked, so I think you can wait a little bit.
