We live in a house apartment right now in what is basically half the main floor. As we speak we are out growing this small one bedroom between our bicycles, the dog, our work, etc. In 2-3 weeks we are moving downstairs to the lower level (2 bedroom apt). We want to decorate for Christmas and get a tree, but it seems so silly/time consuming to decorate up here and then take EVERYTHING down, plus pack all of our stuff up to move downstairs. Do i then not decorate downstairs for the week before Christmas?

wait until you move... it doesn't hurt if you want to put something that'll get you into the holiday spirit, and doesn't take much to clean up and move at the last minute.
