I was going to register for them, but then my Mom bought them for me instead. So, it is up to you.

Register for them! People will definitely get them for you at the shower.

If someone buys for you sooner, you can always delete them from the registry.

I got mine as an engagement gift, but if I didn't...I'd register for them.

My Mom said she would take care of it but I saw the flutes I really wanted and ordered them! She wasn't mad-sort of relieved that she didn't have to remember them!!!

I didn't register for them, and wasn't planning on buying them, but got them as gifts anyway. I figured we could just use whatever the hall gave us, but my relatives had other...very cheesy....ideas. Now I have hideous toasting flutes that I HAVE to use becasue the person who gave them to us will be looking for them.

Moral of the story...

Register for the ones you want so you don't end up with ugly flutes in your wedding pictures!

i actually bought our flutes from a LIW bride...FH's grandmother gave us a knife..but not the server...

to buy the server is like $5 less than just buying the whole set over (it's a waterford crystal knife)....but i think i'll just buy something new all over...she'll never remember or see if it's the same one!

I registered for them - and the cake topper - cause I didn't want to buy them myself! If you don't get them for your shower, then you can just buy them, but people LOVE buying wedding things like that !

I registered for them, and my BMs bought them as shower gifts.

I registered for them and my FSIL and FMIL bought them for me and my sister bought me the cake topper that way it came from people that I am close to.

I bought them myself. I don't even know if I will have a shower or not so I figured why chance it.

I registered for my flutes at Macy's b/c of their point reward system there for registries. We don't want/need the serving utelsils b/c we'll never use them again, so our RH is providing them for us.

I didnt register for them yet. I figured I'd see if my mom buys them as a gift (that's what she got my brother for his wedding). IF I dont get them at my shower then I'll go buy them

I didn't put them on my registry but I know someone will get them and if they don't then I will just go and get them myself

I was also going to register for them but my FMIL told me not to because I think she's getting them for us.
