Am I The Only Anti-Sports Bride?

I am convinced I am the only bride on here who dreads baseball season and has no interest in her FH teams (though lucky for me he's only into baseball). I have tried for six years to care and I just don't. I have zero interest in any organized sporting events. Never played anything in high school or college. I was that kid all in black with spider web earrings who liked WLIR and wrote poetry.

My favorite thing about going to the Yankee game was the hot dog and people watching. Ha ha.

But, i dated a guy who was OBSESSED with football and it drove me nuts! and don't get me started on 'fantasy' teams!!!

You are a funny one! No I love Hockey because FH got me into it. I USED to be big into baseball before I met FH but he liked hockey so I started watching-
Now I might be addicted.

I don't despise it but I don't enjoy watching it on tv either. I like going to the games though. I have to say that FH is really good about it -- if there are things we have to do or I make plans and there is a game on he doesn't complain about it. He knows he can't stay in to watch EVERY game --

thought he was pretty happy today to be able to watch opening day!!!!!!

i was raised in a family that was yankee and met obsessed to. there are pix of me at a huge game in the 80s and i have my old school walkman on and i'm reading a tiger beat magazine or something. so funny!

I am not really a baseball fan. I mean I usually watch during the playoffs because to me that's the only time baseball is exciting.

I am only into Hockey... Rangers to be exact!!!!! I have season tickets with FH.... that is the only sport he is into, so thankfully I am too and do not mind going to every game and watching it on TV....I look forward to it!!!!

I am a Mets fan, but i am not a religious follower...

I AM not a big football fan but a big baseball fan so im glad football season is over and baseball is starting. I also love soccer, basketball a little but stopped following basketball a while ago.

FH is lucky i love baseball bc he plays on about 4 leagues, and will even play for other teams who need he to fill in, obsessed with fantasy, and watches sports ALL the time. Plus i love going to his games and watching him play

Not a fan of football so it did get annoying, every sunday was dedicated to that not to mention fantasy to that, and i never went to his football games.

And the eurocup is coming soon so we're both excited about that

Only people I know of from soccer is Mia Hamm and Beckham

my family is very european so thats why

i like the yankees, but i'd rather go to games than watch on tv. I don't like football or basketball or any other sport really... I like soccer just because my dad is a freak and watched it constantly when i was growing up... best thing ever was when he took ME to a world cup semifinals game when italy played bulgaria.... it was amazing. But i don't follow it as much anymore.

i hate sports!!!!!!!!!! fh is, however, obsessed with soccer so I have learned to live with it. He plays a few times a week, tivo's all the games, and plays it on his xbox. I get soccer overload at home! Luckily he isn't too much into the other sports. If I ever go to a sporting event (which is rare) i usually only go for the beer

The only sport I grew up watching was Soccer LOL but DH got me REALLY into Hockey. I absolutely love it and I have to say I love when I tell DH I watched a game while he was at work, he gets so proud

Can you believe the Rangers finally get the cover of the paper and its about Avery sleeping with wh0res. . .LOL I love him, they better re-sign!

LOL!!! Thank you!!! We are going to the last home game of the season on friday against the Islanders! I can't wait!!!

I hope that he Re-signs!!! it is taking forever and making me nervous!
