Not having a bridal shower? We decided it was too complicated to plan, with me living in Colorado and my MOH in Vermont. I coudn't afford to fly back to NY again this year. Anyone else not having a shower????

My sister wanted to give me money in lieu of a shower, but the other BM wanted me to have one. With distance, the expense probably would not be worth it and difficult to coordinate.

Oh, thats so sweet! We registered and have been getting gifts anyway :) Just curious how many other girls are in the same boat!

I ddin't to a traditional shower. I just had my maid of honor invite a few of my closest friends to a lunch....

sorry for crashing.. I just move out of state and I also go to school so I cant be traveling to NY just for a shower so my mom and MOH are planning my shower for a week before the wedding, because I am arriving that weekend before.. is kind of close to the wedding but most people understand why they are planning it so close to the wedding... Just an idea
