Yes it means you leave early...1-2PM.
Mine never had it until now....and they haven't started yet, but I'm sitting here alone at the office working my butt off! (Although I did just go on a job interview....lol).
And there isn't anyone in the office that I have tried to call either!

I have 15 mins left of this hot day and then I am outta here. We started summer hours the Friday before Memorial Day. Its about the only perk we get here.

I have had them for the past three years and I finally decided that I hated working 45 minutes later Mon-Thurs so that I could leave at 12:30 on Friday. My commute to and from NYC (from Brentwood) is an hour and a half each way (including subway) and it made no sense to travel a total of 3 hours for three and a half hours work.
I guess I should have been grateful

We dont have them either. I suggested it once - work an extra hour M-Th so we can close at noon on Fridays but they laughed at me

It just seemed like everyone had them....I swear I can't find ONE person that is in the office right now that I deal with. I've called about 11 people already.

At my old company we had them. We had 4 Fridays of our choice off in the summer. I believe where I am temping now also has them.
My dad's office does the stay late M-Th and leave early Friday's thing too.
