Am I the only idiot that doesn't have summer Friday's yet?

I have summer hours but someone had to stay late in my dept. So this week its my turn.

I WANT SUMMER FRIDAYS TOO!

My company never lets us out early... I remember a few years ago when there was a hurricane, we could leave early 'if we wanted to, but we had to use personal time'. C'mon, ppl, it was a hurricane!!!

None here either.

None for me either... I happen to be off on Fridays under my current schedule - but I work ALL weekend! I have to miss my FH in the fire dept. parade tomorrow

not only do i not have summer friday's but july 15th - september 15th is our blackout dates - no vacation days allowed

Mine go from Memorial Day to Labor Day - Long days Mon-Thurs, then out at 12:30 on Friday

We have the most ridiculous summer hours I've ever heard of - they just started it this year.

We work an extra 15 minutes a day, and get to leave an hour early on Friday Isn't that kinda goofy? Furthermore, we have to schedule when we are working our extra hour (we can do it all on one day, or spread it out, as long as it's scheduled with HR) The stupid thing is, I'm salaried and usually work at least an hour or two extra each week, sometimes more. So if I unexpectedly end up staying late on a Monday for a special project it doesn't count towards my extra hour since it wasn't scheduled. They still want their overtime and don't want us applying it to the early Friday leave.

Everyone I tell about this has the same reaction - they are stunned into speechlessness!
