Am I the only May bride who has not picked out BM dresses yet?
I know I really need to pick a dress - but it's not as easy as I thought it would be. My dress place said I really need to have them ordered by October. But am I the only one who hasn't picked a dress yet?

If it makes you feel better, I am a May bride who hasn't even secured a reception hall yet!
Even though I am trying not to stress out, it is really hard not to.

Just began ordering ours this month! I have a few more girls that have yet to order! By September they will be done the latest!

I haven't - I don't even have my dress yet (though I picked it out - haven't ordered yet).
I'm a BM in a friend's wedding in a few weeks (and she's one of my BM's) - so I wanted to wait until after her wedding to give some breathing room.

I just picked out mine in late July so dont feel bad. Your girls have time to order still. My friends wedding was in May and we purchased our dresses at beginning of Feb and got them in 2 months.

The lady at my dress place said that during December and February the factories do not work for some reason. That was why she said to order by October. However, I'm sure she is exaggerating (sp?) a little to get my butt in gear. I'm just glad to hear I'm not the only one!

That's so funny. The woman at a bridal place I went to last week told me the bridal industry basically shuts down in December and that manufacturers close for the month of January. I don't know how truthful she was being!

you never know my cousin worked in the fashion distric inthe city for 10 years and the last week in Dec and the 1st week in jan her job would close because it would be so slow-- so it could be true

Don't feel bad, it took us forever!!! I've changed my wedding date twice and we just found a dress we could all agree on, there are soooo many choices and most bridal parties have woman of different body types and sizes so finding a dress they are all happy with is extremely difficult.

I haven't even asked all my BM's yet!! So no, I am dressless as well. I haven't even started looking.

I've looked twice, but haven't decided on anything yet! Plus a lot of the new lines/styles are coming out between now and September so I am going to hold out some more for them!

I've picked my BM dress, but I haven't decided on the color yet. I am going next week to decide/order. I hope to have all the girls order their dresses by the end of September.

I've changed my style so many times I can't seem to decide. I have two appts so far and hopefully I'll be able to decide and place an order by early november.
