I have one.......it doesn't expire until 2009.
The sad part is its from when I was a ton younger...it doesn't even look like me anymore!

They do last awhile once you get them.

As of December 31, 2006 it will be required for travel to anywhere!

I think I paid btwn 70 and 80 and that was in 04 for a renewal. A brand new one is more.

I haven't heard any requirements for passports within the us for travel...but here is the page with all the info...they are a great second photo ID to have...

really how do you know .?? Wow thats crazy its like 150 to get a passport I have mine its good until 2010 but wow thats insane...

i don't have one and we've been really lazy in getting to the post office to take care of it...it also doesn't help that we don't have the money for the passports either

last I heard it was 97 dollars to get a new passport. I ws pissed because I got the last one when I was 15 so they wouldn't let me renew it and then the price went up like the week before I went in. At least it lasts 10 years. Fh still needs one.

I don't have one, but will be getting one soon. In January they are making it mandatory to have a passport to leave the country... even to go to Canada
