Am I the only one.........

I feel like the older I get the more my friends are I become less closer. My Birthday just passed and I felt so alone. My FI made me feel so special, but still at the end of the day I was so hurt that none of my friends(except one) called me for my birthday. I am so sad.

As the years go on you will notice friends that were there aren't anymore but that doesn't mean they are gone for good. I have lost contact with friends but after some time we find our way back to eachother. The only ones that remembered my b'day this year was my family and fh. All my friends were like oh crap I missed it again. But they have never let me down when its something important. And they are anxiously awaiting my wedding and not just for the open bar Don't worry just because they forgot your birthday doesn't mean they don't care. maybe they just have bad memories when it comes to dates Hope you had a happy birthday despite the lack of calls

Aww, happy birthday. Don't feel bad I miss friends birthdays but I am still thinking of them I just have been overwhelmed with work and school and wedding planning. Don't take it personal I'm sure they still love you. We just get busy at times.

I think that happens to all of us as we get older, start careers, get into relationships. It's sad.
But it dont mean they dont think about you. I have plenty of friends who I may not talk to or see much but I do think of them quite often!

You know I completley know the feeling I have come to the realization that your friends arent always what they make themselves out to be they say one thing and mean another and honestly they always claim that they will be there for u but when it really comes down to it ur lucky if u have just a couple really good friends so the one who called is a true friend!!! only one of my friends did something for my bday and she was living with me so it was kinda hard to forget or ignore ya know but Happy bday to you happy bday to you!!!!!!!!

I'd say focus on the ones that are there vs the ones that are not. We may forget things here and there but it does not necessarily mean that we don't care about the other person. Again, happy, happy birthday!
