I am having SOME children, but not inviting everyone's children. My best friend told me flat out that she is leaving her four kids home b/c she wants a night out to enjoy which very seldom happens for her. My son will be there, my flower girl and ringboy, My 1 yr old nephew and 2 cousins who are both 14.

i want to have kids at our reception and trying to figure out a way to work it out but not sure...If we allow everyone to bring kids we can have close to 50 kids there if everyone brings their kids and thats just a bit much so thats what im worried about...if i knew ahead of time exactly who would want to bring their kids and who wouldn't then this decision would be alot easier. Also i have to pay $90 for chicken fingers and fries so thats another factor. FH doesn't want kids at the reception and the chance of 50 of them is not helping my case lol. Plus we have a late reception so thats another thing

we just agreed last night we're inviting children! I wasn't going to at first for financial reasons some people just have wayyy to many kids .. but we realized that people should be able to choose whether they want the night out, or want to bring the kiddies along!

We are having kids at the reception too. But only the kids in the family we are really close too. Plus most of them ar ein the BP. We are having about 12 kids: ages 2 to 14.

I'm having kids..but there's only about 6 kids total (the others are little babies) Since they're so few kids, we decided to put them in the BP

We are - i literally told Dave last night - I think we're the ONLY ones having kids at our reception....

We're only haveing one child there. FH's nephew/Junior Best Man. FH and him are extremely close and couldn't imagin not having him at his side when he gets married. He will be 2 months shy of 10 when we get married.

no! plenty of people are having kids at their reception.
I would LOVE to invite all the kids in my family... but there are just too many. Our budget can't allow it.

So we're having the kids who are in our bridal party and the kids from out of the country.

Mizzdimple you're wedding is on my 25th birthday!!! I'll be on my honeymoon!!

oh....and I'm not sure yet about the children. Depends on my budget! If I can afford to have them then of course I will invite!!
