T you know what? Maybe the reason you aren't finding a dress yet is b/c the spring and summer collection is out right now.. no? Have you called a shop asking when they get their winter collection? Call Lillette's.

I had NO idea when I started looking. You should not stress about this. You have so much time to decide. Although I started looking with my mind set against strapless, I actually went with a strapless (making straps detachable), after trying on several different styles. Even if you get an idea as to what you are looking for, you may change your mind after you start trying on dresses.
Don't worry, just go try on a bunch of different styles and eventually you will start to envision what you are looking for

You have plenty of time-don't sweat it. I was a mess dress shopping. I didn't have much of an idea when I went in and what I thought I might like looked bad on me...then I went to a totally different style and almost bought a dress then found one that made me cry and it was totally different from what I almost bought....basically I went in circles before I found my dream dress! (PS Did all of that in about 2 months and ordered my dress about 8-9 months before my wedding).

I thought I was going to go with a simple A-line tank dress with Cathedral train.
I think I'm going to buy a strapless princess gown with chapel train. The dress has an overlay of lace and beading.
So what you begin to look for is not always what you wind of purchasing.
You have soo much time to look I wouldnt stress out, but have fun with the fact you can try on alot of dresses. Even ones you never will where. Fun to play dress up.
