Who is planning to HM in Turks & Caicos?

You know what i was planning my second week of my honeymoon there but they had a bad hurricane and some places wouldnt even take reservations

I wanted to go there for so long heard they have the best beaches.

I saw pics of Turks and Caicos and fell in love. The sand is so white and the water is so clear. But, do they have all inclusives? I know they have the Beaches resort but that is aimed at families with children. Do you know of any other inclusives they may have? If so, please let me know. We still don't know where we're going.

You're right....I was looking at Sands at Grace Bay, it's not all-inclusive but I thought the price was good, compared to a lot of other places I saw.

No its not the weather, they had devistation to the area. Alot of the resorts are closed for a while. but by July 09 i dont see why they wouldnt be open.

FH and I went there last year for vacation it was one of the best weeks we ever had!!!! We stayed at the Ocean Club West and it was basically inclusive and we had a mini-kitchen in the room. as part of our package which was for 5 days/4 nights we go 3 dinners, lunches and breakfasts each and 3 drink tickets each as well!

The price was great and so was the beach!!! And I never go to the beach and I loved it!!!

I was thinking about it...but I wanted to stay at an all inclusive resort and the only one they seem to have there is family one

We thought about it but I dont want to take connecting flights so we ruled it out. It looks gorgeous though.

The beaches are gorgeous there, the water was just amazing.

Depends also what part you stay in bc some areas are still being developed.

If you want a laid back, relaxing HM then this would be good.

not honeymooning there, but loved it when we went in february. def try to make your way down to parrot cay. we never did, and i think we really missed out. the snorkeling there is supposed to be out of this world, and it's much more romantic and isolated than where we stayed on grace bay.

do NOT fly AA there--holy incompetence!

That was definitely one of our FAVORITE vacation spots!! I have travelled all over the carribean, and they def have the most beautiful beaches. We are planning on going back again at some point in the future

Not for the honeymoon but we had a wonderful experience at the Beaches Resort in Turks and Caicos for our summer vacation. The flights were great, customs went fairly easy, the resort was absolutely spotless and beautiful. The resort had activities planned for everyone to do each hour of the day and shows each night that where very entertaining. The sand was absolutely amazingly beautiful and white and I cannot say enough about the water. The water was crystal clear and a auqa color and turned into a sapphire color about 200 yards from the shore. We loved it and want to go back but next time will be for family vacation when we have baby.... . I heard family resort is also great there!!
