who is obsessed with wedding dresses?

I LOVE my dress, and there's no way I would ever change it. I swear. But I go into sensory overload when I see wedding gowns in general..like wanting to try everything on and get married every year just to wear a new dress. LOL

Seriously if there was a mistake with my gown and I had to suddenly choose a new one I wouldn't be upset at all.... I mean maybe a little bit, but nothing to sob over. There's so many AMAZING gowns. I think it's impossible to have just one perfect dress.

Ugh I'm such a fashion fickle..maybe I should switch careers and go work with wedding gowns so I get my fashion fix 5 days a week.

I was just having this conversation with MOB over the weekend.... I constantly get new bride magazines in the mail all and I just PORE over all the gowns. I am obsessed!!!! It seems unfair that we only get to wear one, one time, for only one day! Grace Ormonde is my WORST enemy!!!!

Im the same way and working at a bridal salon is not helping the situation AT ALL!!

OMG Seriously I would die.....especially its so hard when you're waiting for your dress to come in.

Its so hilarious bc when I go on the 2010 boards and seeing them post that they find the one so early I'm always crashing and saying 'DON'T DO IT YET!!!!! WAIT!!!!!'

And then I remember how obsessive compulsive I was on the dress hunt...and then changing my mind and doing a re select 2 months later! Those poor girls probably think I'm some crazy den mother..

Seriously if I worked in a wedding salon I would try on dresses all the time..no joke.

ummmm i do try them on all the time..luckily i havent found one that looked awesome enough on me to make me want to get a new dress (again.) I think th eproblem is that I would want to wear a dress that is shaped like yours and i am just too short...that would be the only gripe i have about my dress is that its not trumpet/mermaid at all. Its a slim A line...but whenever i try on the mermaids/trumpets i look dumb

So funny cause I was recently thinking that if my dress suddenly could not come, I would be sad, but like you said, there are soooooooooooo many amazing wedding gowns out there, I know I'd find something just as nice. I wanted a mermaid/trumpet from the get go, but then convinced myself into a ballgown, only to revert back to the mermaid shape and re selecting. I'm lucky that I'm tall enough to carry the shape-I'm 5'7 barefoot, so in shoes I end up 5'10 or taller..and now I look at MORE mermiad gowns and think 'ooh what about this one with the ruffles? What about a longer train? What if I had gotten the Ann Hathaway Bride Wars dress (I did try it on!) And then I'm like 'Is FH's family gonna bug out that my gown is pink and not white?'

I totally hear you on this...i definitely feel like i might not have gotten the best gown but i got a gown that is really pretty and that i will be comfy in....im not the type that will ever find a 'this is THE ONE' gown..it just wont happen!

ITA!! When I found my (now) dress it wasn't like I had any revelations. I was alone with my saleslady Rosemary, and I looked in the mirror at myself in my dress and said 'yup' and thought of it more like a red carpet dress than a wedding dress.

HOLY SHIZ and I just realized that my gown comes in at the end of july, which means 14 or 15 weeks! That means it's being made like............now!!
Seriously I'm in the gym like a maniac now..

you will be stunning...wiht a fitted dress like that you want some curves girl so dont go losing all of your body! You are tiny to begin with!!!

I had my gown on yesterday and thought 'Yeah, this is fine, i will be ok in this at our wedding' lol
