When I got engaged I was so excited that I wanted to invite the world to our wedding, when it came time to send out rhe STDs I sent one to all of my friends and now here it is over a year later ad I don't want some of them at wedding anymore . I really don't want to send them an invite........I kind of hope that they just forget that I even sent them an STD. I never speak to them and I never see them, how would they know I know tha it's mean but who really cares. They dont even call or anything ever since we graduated this summer I have not heard a peek out of them, I don't see why I should have people at the wedding who don't even call once ina while to say hello when there are people who I speak to everyday that I didnt get to invite because I am trying to keep my guests to a min.

Ohhhh you are so not the only one. I personally have done inventory on my life since becoming ill and have not spoken to a few peeps and no longer want them present at our wedding. I sent out our STD's over 8 months ago due to OOT guests. I was wondering the same thing as you?! NOW WHAT? lol

If you don't want certain people there, then don't invite them. if you don't speak to them as it is, then i think they will understand and figure it out.

I 'm thinking of just not sending them invites..I dont see why I should care, afterall it's not like I see them or speak to them anymore anyway..... FH feels the same way that I do..thats why I love him..lol...he is as much of mean A$$ as I am..

I didn't send out STD's, but if you no longer speak to them, they probably won't even notice that they never got an invite. I wouldn't invite them.

That stinks. I think its kind of hard to not invite them now though.
I hate to admit it but my FH was right about not sending out STDs. We didn't do them and this was one of the reasons.

I decided against sending STDs and I am soo glad I did because I would hate to have this problem. There are sooo many people I don't talk to anymore. Go with your gut...if you really feel like they don't belong there then don't invite them.

When I said that I don't speak to them I meant that we don't call eachother on the phone and stuff but if we happen to run into eachother we speak. They are friends with my other friends so they speak to them and a few of my friends told me that they keep saying that they can't wait for my wedding so trust me they will notice I just don't want to invite them anymore because we are not close anymore. Friends or not I only want people around me on that day that care enough to call once in while to says hello. I at least call my friends once in a while. I don't see why people would want to go to someones wedding and they dont even hang with that person much anymore. It prob is just for free food and drinks

Hmmm...that kinda changes everthing...don't you think? Sounds like they want to go to the wedding...maybe you should invite them...food and drinks aren't totally free...they will still be giving you a gift I am sure. Well eitherway...its your day no matter what and you call the shots. Good luck.

FH & I decided that we will not be inviting one of the guys that we sent an STD to. we know its a big no, no, but he is really annoying & i don't like him, i'm a little afraid of him. & since FH & the rest of the guys don't want to have anything to do with him anymore this is how we are going to cut the friendship.

It's your wedding so invite or don't invite whoever you want!!
I have the issue with some family members that I don't want to invite. But I feel bad, so I am praying they don't want to come anyway. Maybe I'll start a fight with them so they won't come.......

Kamai, you can always say the invite got lost in the mail if it ever came down to it.
hey, since you don't directly speak to them anyway and you're hearing that they cant wait for your wedding from a second party, it really shouldn't matter then
