Who is not planning on using wedding related stamps on anything that has to be mailed (like the Wedding Rings, of the Cake, or anything made by Zazzle?).
I was seriously just thinking of getting the Forever Stamps (the Bell) because if I have extra I want to be able to use them for non wedding related things.
Will this look weird?

Re: Am I the only one...???
it wont look weird. honestly.. when people receive the STD's and invites... no one really pays attention to the stamps, but rather the actual information being provided.
i was hoping that they had other types of forever stamps, but if they don't, i might just do the same thing~

yeah I feel the same way. I know I don't look at the stamps at all when I receive anything in the mail!

Re: Am I the only one...???
i'm going to use the forever stamps on my RSVP cards ... but the actual invitations will use the 63 cent (or whatever it is) cake stamp (i don't think the forever stamp will cover the larger invitation envelope postage)
nobody notices the stamps anyhow
oh, i'm using the cake stamp from the post office - not from zazzle. i'm not spending a penny more than i have to on postage

yeah I was thinking of doing the same thing since the actual invites will probably be more in postage.
Thanks girls!

Re: Am I the only one...???
No, I was going to use them, too. But our invites were 61 cents to mail so the wedding cake was the only option.
I wouldn't use the zazzle stamps- they come out to be about double the cost!
Of course just because something isn't wedding related doesn't mean you can't use a stamp with rings on it! You could always still use the extra wedding stamps.

Re: Am I the only one...???
I will probably do the wedding bands but only because it's the same price as regular stamps. If they're not available at the time I won't get stressed about it

Re: Am I the only one...???
i'm using regulr stamps. not doing anything fancy. fancy ones sometimes cost more and no one will look at this part of the envelope anyway

Re: Am I the only one...???
I used the Forever stamps on the RSVP's and my invitations were 63cents so I used the Cake stamps for them...to be honest whenever I get something I always open it and never notice the stamp.

Re: Am I the only one...???
I didn't use any wedding related stamps. I used some sort of landscape looking stamp for my invite and forever stamps for the RSVP's. Haven't had a mention about the stamps, lol.

If they are available and come in denominations I need, then I'll use them.
But I really want to use the Simpsons stamps...

Nope you are not the only one. I didn't use them either. I meant to but never got around to it. And they were delivered in the same manner and it all went well without them. thye are not needed... just a nice touch. And you can do with or without them. Heck some girls even got stuck using goat stamps!! which i even think it just funny and not bad at all. It's just the stamp. The invite is what matters!!

Re: Am I the only one...???
You cannot use the forever stamps if the cost of mailing the invite is more then the cost of a regular envelope.
