Am I the only one that feels like flowers are so expensive?
OK... I'm not asking for anything crazy, just roses and hydrangeas... I have 4 BM and 4 GM, approxiamately 14 tables, a place card table, and lobby table, my bouquet, and a dais... and I keep getting quotes from 2600 to 3000. Does this sound like a lot? Oh and no church arrangements.

even with high CPs, sounds a little high to me. but then again, I think hydrangeas are expensive.

I KNOW!!!!!!!!!!! I was thinking $1,200 for flowers...boy was I wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

mine were like 3700 for everything but we did get a lot and they are upgraded flowers

I totally agree! I am doing a lot with candles at least every other table to cut down on some of the costs. There are some really prettty candle centerpieces as an alternative. Flowers are pretty but they die and to spend all that money stinks!

I don't think 2600 is a TON of money, but I just don't feel like I'm getting a lot for what I asked for. I'm not added cally lillies or peonies, or anything!

Yeap flowers are expensive these days, they are in high demand for weddings and florist are going to boost the prices bec they are a nessesity

That's a bit higher than my quote. I have My BOK Groom BOUT 1 MOH 5 BM 6 GM 2 father/grandfather 2 mother/grandmother 3 FG/Ring 'Princess' 14 tables CP with branches for card table and a few other misc. And, I can choose any flowers....

1 large hydrangea is $10 in the flower district, so they are prob charging triple the price.
Flowers are definetly a rip off.

What about putting all the bouquets on your dais and getting silk flowers for the lobby table & place card table?
