I'm just not into them b/c when you are holding them, you can only capture the beauty by looking from the top down, and not straight ahead at them....I also don't understand why they're so expensive!
My mom keeps pushing me to call our booked Florist to get a quote from them for calla's b/c they're they 'quintessential' flower of weddings...I really don't want them b/c of the reasons posted above.
I'm sure National wouldn't charge me more b/c they wouldn't be using as many calla's as they would roses - but I'm just not into them.

I actually like mini callas better. I think the thing about callas is that they are so long and the flower itself is large, which makes them dramatic. I like the colors of some of the mini calas, but FH is not a fan.
in the flower world, as it everything else- do what YOU want- YOUR quintessential flower is will whatever flower YOU choose for YOUR wedding!!!

Not a calla fan. I thought roses were 'the quintessential wedding flower' although I don't think you need to have roses. Have what you like.

I would prefer peonies over them, personally. I think they are pretty, but I want something a little different.

I love the orange ones! Am thinking of using them with roses for my oct wedding....
I don't think i would have them by themselves, but I have see them at weddings and they looked beautiful!
At the end of the day it's what you like best.

Everyone has roses and you see roses all year long....I think calla lillies are different...and rare...expensive or not...i think they are one of a kind (but this is my opinion) Originally I wanted tulips...but they arent in season

I'm not a big fan either. They're used so often for weddings now, I wanted to go another way...peonies, roses, and ranunculus for me....I'm into soft, fluffy flowers. No offence to callas, they can be pretty too.

im not into them either nor am i into lennox, precious moments, cake toppers and the other sentimental things. i wish i was sometimes! but that stuff doesnt excite me.
however i do love peopnies and hydrangeas!

Everyone has different taste and opinions, I personally think everyone uses roses as a wedding flower. I think calla lillies are elegant looking, i love the mini ones in a bo-k....get what flower you like
