last night FH woke me up that there was crazy water outside, and a bad flood, i thought he was being dramatic
OMGGGG girls!!! we went outside and water was up to my thighs!!!
my car was fulll of water and sitting wiating for it to go back down was terrible- we used all the towels we own, a wet vacum for about 2 hrs, even red solo cups we were scooping out the water
thank gd we got most of it out this morning
uhhhh, my cars 2 months old!! this isnt righttt---- pray for sunshine to evaporate some of the water! so that my car doesnt stink for everrrrr

ugh no way! That completely sucks.
I'm up in the hills on the n shore so we don't flood. all the water runs downhill away from us thank god.

You have the worst luck ever! How crazy! I'm so sorry for you.
There was flooding by us, but didn't directly affect us. A crash in a dip in the road under the LIRR tracks though, some idiot must have tried to speed through all the pooled water.... no one seriously injured thankfully!

OMG!!!! where do you live???? we had a horrible storm last night and it was raining cats & dogs!!! i was on the belt parkway for most of the storm and it was flooded!!!!!!!!! completely! cars were just stuck and not moving! you couldn't even see with the windshield wipers going crazy!
your so lucky the water didn't go up to the engine and that you were able to dry it out!

Did you try to start it? If there's water in your car there is good change your engine got flooded.
I use to work on 110 and if it stormed bad cars got flooded. One time 5 cars in the parking lot had their enginees flooded-- bye bye car

yea no thank god its driving and watever, water was high but didnt get into the seats, and it didnt sit overnight, FH and i were outside till 4am
its jsut so damp still and it smells
but it could be worse
haha iw as ready to cry, my cars a 2011, i just got it in june, like, i didnt need this
pray girls, pray for the sun to get the damp carpets dry!

Omg that is horrible, I'm so sorry! I'm in Jersey and we had a power outage but we're higher on a hill so we didn't get flooded...
my family and I lived in a house where the basement flooded everytime it rained. disaster!
I will hope for sunshine for you

We are in a 4th floor apt that leaked all night last night (this leak has been on going since we moved in and have finally decided to contact a lawyer as nothing has been done about it). Good Luck!!!!

I am in Oceanside too.. Where do you live by? I am not near the water and we dont have a basement but the streets near were flooded last night during the rain. Thank god for no flooding here. I hope you guys get cleaned up soon!
