i kno its really bad that i have no intereest, but i think it is dullsville:)

I think we wore out who we want as President, another focus I have is will the Jets get their stadium.

I have no interest in it. I plan on voting after work and that would be it. It will be over for me Ill just sit back and see who will win. I remember when you voted and you just waited to see who won. It was simple and easyily done I thought & not redundent. JMO

Michi, You are not alone. I am tired of it too but I wouldn't say I have no interest. I stole this motto from someone but if you don't vote...you can't complain! I can't wait until it is over...I am so over it already...I am tired of the bashing and I hate talking politics with people who can't handle a simple disagreement.

you are not alone Michi .. I am sick of hearing about it also. Its not that I have ZERO interest, I just find its overkill by the media to a degree

I watched most of the debates, I have my beliefs.. but I feel no need to rehash it over and over and over. I feel that I am educated on the subject and will cast my ballot accordingly

But that's just me - I don't have anything against those who choose to voice their opinions and debate their beliefs in these forums

I personally do not prefer to get into anything 'political' (on these boards or otherwise) because I know very many people are passionate about their political beliefs, and that is their preogative.

I am so not political, and probably the only reason why I might be a little interested in this election is because I'm suddenly seeing things from a different perspective. As much as I hate the candidate bashing that goes on in the states (debates, commercials, protests, etc) I do suddenly feel a sense of patriotism and the need to defend my country in the face of Anti-americanism...

I wasn't going to register to vote because I didn't care. But then I realized women didn't always have the right to vote, and we got that right and should exercise it. And I realize I do have some say in who is President because I'm scared to death if someone I am not for is President for the next four years. That changed my mind, and I voted this morning.

No matter who you are for, we should all vote - that's what out country is based on - a free democratic society. Even if you aren't too fond of the Presidential Candidates, think of the local elections in your area. In fact, these elections will probrably have a greater impact on your everyday lives. Who gets elected to the local town council could dictate whether more stores are built, highways are expanded, land preserved, etc.
