Yeah..sometimes tell FH about the drama that does on here, and he just laughs at me and says 'you've never been on an online bulltein board before, have you?'

Very true. Some of these issues who are for or against could very well influence your life.

that is exactly why everyone should vote.

unfortunately, apathy and ignorance is what those in power bank on so they can take more for themselves and sell a bill of goods to the rest!

MaryMoon - If there's a write-in spot on my ballot when I vote this evening, maybe I'll vote for him. We'll never have to worry about long speeches

Re: am i the only one who has no interest in the election?

i agree - i am tired of hearing about it - but just to think that there are millions of others in this country who aren't interested and / or are not voting makes me shudder.

Re: am i the only one who has no interest in the election?

I am also not very political. I always vote, b/c I am thankful to have the right to do so. I am not completely disinterested, but I definitely look forward to all the politics talk dying down.

Re: am i the only one who has no interest in the election?

I think it's a shame when people take our democratic processes for granted. It is so amazing that the US has non-violent transfers of power. Even if my choice (Bush) doesn't win, I will still feel very patriotic seeing the new president being sworn in. Think of other countries, where people are shot for just going to the polls, or dictators rule, and there is no voting.

But that is what makes America so great. Our soldiers fight and die to protect your right to vote or to not vote.

God Bless America.

Re: am i the only one who has no interest in the election?

I cant wait to see all the complaints about the results though, there's bound to be some..I'm done though, too many people take their politics too seriously..no rephrase, more seriously then me, and I cant stand someone fighting or being rude over politics...

So glad Im getting married in a presidential election time
