am i the only one who's keeping my dress a secret?
I bought my dress a few weeks ago ... my mom and family friend came with me so they know what it looks like ... we sent a picture of it to my aunt since she offered to pay for it.
Otherwise, i'm not showing the dress to anyone (not even my bridal party).
Am i the only one who feels the dress should be a secret? (i have no idea why i feel this, but i do )

i felt like this before i got my dress... but now that i have it, i've shown it to the world lol i'm also very scared that someone may copy me i have 8 weddings nxt year!

Only my mom, one sister and FMIL saw me in the dress - I sent my BMs a photo of the dress. . . .

Only my close family and friends have seen it, but I am afraid to post it on here because of lurkers.
And I also dont want anyone else to see it until the wedding day with the hair, makeup and jewelry

I've shown mines to my immediate family, bridal party, and co-workers, as long as FH doesn't see it, then I'm happy but I can understand why you'd want to keep it a secret/surprise.

i have shown a pic of it on the model to alot of people, but the only people who have seen pics of me in it are my parents, sister, FMIL, FFIL and a couple of close friends. I want everyone to see me in it for the first time on the wedding day!!

i think part of my reason for keeping it a secret is that 'shock value' ... i think the dress i chose is not necessarily the dress people are expecting out of me (my aunt was SOOOO shocked when we showed her the pic ... she thought i'd be buying something much simpler) ....

only FMIL and FSIL saw me in it.Showed pics to Sds and my MOm..that's it.
I put a pic of me in it by my Dad's bed when he was sick. Since I knew he wouldn't make it.
No one has seen my second dress !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

more people have seen it than i would have liked. i made the mistake of emailing a pic to FMIL who then sent it to everyone in their family . at least FH hasn't seen it yet

ive only shown it to my mom, my sis, my MOH and another bridesmaid.
honestly, im even hesitant to show it to FH's family. what if they dont like it? or have comments? i couldnt deal with that....its bad enough FH isnt really happy i didnt get a huge poofy dress

I was planning on it but that didn't last long. I share everything with FH and he is dead set against seeing my dress so I am showing everyone else.

I am with you!!! My BP keep asking to see the dress via pictures of me in it or online. I am always making excuses.

I am really bad at keeping secrets so I showed anyone who asked. I think it's nice to surprise everyone though. You will really make an entrance that way.
