I just haven't gotten around to changing my name and I feel like I should have by now. Am I alone?

nope! I haven't done it yet. I am really going to try to get it done this Thursday though.

Okay i went to DMV today the one tin garden city(actually not that bad)... now SS then what do you do after that

I did not do it yet. I don't have much time off to go to SS office.

i just did mine about 3 weeks ago....maybe 4. only because i had some time off between jobs and had used my married name to get the new job!

After going to SS what else need to be done? do i have to bring my SS card ? Not to sure where it is

i bumped this on BHB for you.

marriage license and name change thread

everything is in the first post. after you do the DMV and SS, you can do the banks and any place else.you can do the dmv first OR SS first. doesn't matter.

for SS you need a form filled out and your marriage license. they didn't ask for my old card. i brought it anyway.

i still have to do it with social security so i'm not official yet. almost there.
