Youre not wrong at all...tell them to get over themselves and remember the day is not about them!

Your not wrong.

You dont have the room and they will have to be fine with it.

And yes, they need to get over themselves!

Not wrong at all...I didn't bring FH in to the limo for my sister's, nor did I assume I could. I'm not having dates in our limos either, and I hope no one assumes otherwise.

We had the same reaction from someone! I said,' well if she doesnt drive how are you guys gonna get home the reception?' This person thought they were riding home with us in our limo

We're actually letting the bridal party bring dates on the bus. I've been the person that wasn't allowed on the bus/limo and it's not a fun feeling. I say if you have the room let them all bring dates on. If not, you may want to give them the option of not taking the bus though so they can stay with their dates. Just my opinion of course!

You're not wrong at all. I've been a BM several times and my date for the night was NEVER included in the limo/party bus, etc. Also, FH has been a GM and I've had to find my own way back and forth to the wedding.

They need to s*ck it up!

I understand where you are coming from.

I'm just wayy too accomidating for things. I purposly booked something that would have some extra seats just incase this happens to me. I also know that some of the dates might have to leave their cars at the hotel and in that case they would be stranded so to make it easier for them... I invited them onto the trolley. I'm hoping this all works out. I'm a little nervous about it.

I've learned that people who haven't gone through the wedding process are just clueless about things and they have no idea what's rude and what's acceptable. Also, some of those who planned weddings years ago or those who planned smaller weddings... seem to forget or just not know either!! It's ridiculous at times!!!

Honestly an old BF was in a wedding for his cousin. I was just his date. And I had to find my own way there... and had to sit alone because they did that dais table. I didn't complain at all and neither did that guy at the time. It was what it was! Personally the sitting alone was more annoying then traveling there alone! I think that's why I'm letting my BP dates sit with them.

Ridiculous! No way are you wrong. It never even crossed my mind to have the dates in our limo at any point, nor have I ever been invited to be in FH's friends' limos. Tell everyone to put on their big kid pullups and get the eff over it.

Definitely not wrong! I refused to make allowances for some and not others (that is just way unfair) so either everyone could bring a date in the limo or no one...In my case no one brought dates because I would have needed two limos for the bp and most people needed their cars for after the wedding anyways. Tell them to suck it up!

I definitely don't think you're wrong.

there is NO WAY to make everyone happy... stick with your gut and have it the way you want it!!

No I def dont think you are wrong!!!! These guys have to realize 'it is what it is'. If you and FH are comfy w/your choice than def stick by it.!

I have seen this often. I've been in the limo once and FH had to drive alone and I've driven alone or with friends when FH has been in the BP.

Whats the big deal?

If you give them an inch - they'll take a mile! Next thing you know, they will be asking to have their dates in the Bridal Suite too! They're adults - suck it up!

You are so NOT wrong. That's just silly, those girls can drive themselves

Besides what are they going to do when you take pictures?

I dont think its wrong to tell them. And I think your FH should let these guys know also.

If I were a guys date to a wedding and he was in the BP, Id rather go in my own car or whatever-I'd feel so awkward in a bus full of people i really dont know ya know?

Re: am i wrong?..........

i don't think you are wrong at all. the way our BP worked out, we had 'couples' in the bridal party. its not your job to provide transportation for anyone outside the BP.

ETA: b/c then how are they getting home? are you supposed to provide it?? dont think so!

Re: am i wrong?..........

It's weird to me because if they both go on the bus how the hell would they get back home if they have no car since they will be on the bus?So both g/f's have to drive because they will not have a ride going back home. I wonder if they though of this
