hmmmm yeah that sounds weird. I mean its seems like there are too many similarities for it to be a coincidence. However, if they are good friends I would just let it go. Your wedding will be fabulous regardless and its not woth ruining a frienship over.

Re: Am I wrong?
I feel like that about some of our friends getting married, but you know as they say imitation in the greatest form of flattery. Yes, it's annoying. Yes, it'll probably drive you bananas, but just do your thing and try not to think about them.

That's just dumb! 5 MONTHS before the wedding? Everyone will forget to go by the time the wedding rolls around!

hmm... too many similarities but if you can try to take it as a compliment that you guys are doing and booking great things.
As for the invites I wouldn't sweat it. If I got an invite 5 months early I would say, 'Why are they sending me this now!?'

That is really obnoxious, there is no reason for them to send out their invites before yours! I'd be annoyed but I don't think there is anything you can really say/do about it. I mean, it's their perogative.

Re: Am I wrong?
I know it is so annoying and i was in a similar sitation with someone getting married before me copying all my ideas. Be happy they are getting married after you, and maybe try to keep your ideas between you and FH that way they can not copy.

I would be upset too. But they are going to be the ones that look ridiculous that they are sending out the invites 5 months before. People are going look at it and say Oh I got time and either forget about it or misplace them.
But you are still getting married first!

I don't think you are wrong at all. I get the similarities - like someone else said it's best form of flattery.
But to send the invitations out that early? What is she trying to prove? Does she think that people won't come to both?
