Am I wrong? It's kinda long...

Am I wrong? It's kinda long...

Thank you in advanced for reading this...

FMIL and FFIL are no longer together as of October, but FMIL was seeing another man like a year prior to their spilt up in October. She moved out of their home and in with this man.

So, FMIL wanted new BF and his children to come to the church. I wasn't thrilled with the idea, but FH said it wasn't a big deal and they could just hang out in the back. So, fine...whatever.

Well, FMIL thought it was a great idea to bring his uninvited daughter to my bridal shower (after myself, FH and FBIL told her not to). Her reasoning 'Well, she really wanted to go and Jessie shouldn't be so sensitive.' I don't really care what this girl wants! So, now FH's side of the family knows who this girl is and when they see her at the church with an older man they will put 2 and 2 together. I told FH that they really shouldn't go and that it was really like a slap in the face to FFIL. We fought about it, and then FFIL got wind that they were going to the church and was pretty upset about it. I don't blame him, your wife leaves you and now she wants to bring this person to your son's wedding. Now, FH mentioned to FMIL that the BF and the children can not go. She started hysterical crying on the phone. I'm sorry but MAYBE if you didn't pull that stunt at the shower things would be different and also this is her mess. She can't have her cake and eat it too. She says 'Dad's a big boy he will get over it.' Well lady put on the big girl pants and deal with the fact that your BF is not going! They want to see it so bad then they can wait for the video!

VENT OVER!

I have no patience for that kind of cr@p.

I think you have every right to tell them they can't go . She overstepped when she just showed up with her at the shower. What is to stop her from just telling them to come to the RH after the church??

Let her cry, she'll learn how to act like an adult.
